      <title>Lehman Colapse</title>
      <link>http://www.moneysavingindex.co.uk/_Lehman-Colapse/BLOG/101944/51060.html</link>
      <description>Sorry for any mispellings with this post as I have just spent most of the afternoon at the foothills of Canada Waters, drowning my sorrows.  &#xD;
  Its been the worst day of my life, I started this job 2 years ago, expecting to be earning a good salary so I can continue to contribute to our family life, supporting my five children through school.  &#xD;
  I am now without a job, and from the looks of it my career prospects are low. I would have never imagined during my 5 years of training as a research analyst that things would get as bad as this.  &#xD;
  Not only have I lost my Job, my husband was made redundant from his job as a highly paid CDO trader at Bear Stearns all his training is of no or very little use now as he has yet to have a single interview in the last 4 weeks.  &#xD;
  I hate having to come on to a little know blog to rant and rave, but its hard for us. We used to have a bright future, we trained hard, we worked hard. We had a large family, we had huge expectations of life. But now it all seems really really bad.  &#xD;
    We have just commited to a huge mortgage, which we put all our money into, I can see little chance of us keeping this property.  &#xD;
  Its really really strange, that some one like us who had it all can lose everything so quickly and not because we made bad choices or because we didn't spend hours and hours preparing ourselves, but because the world is in a bad way due to a few people in America who made some really bad choices..we all have to pay.  &#xD;
  What I don't understand is why the government in the UK, US and every other part of the world..always blaim the corporation for the state we are in. They are supposed to police everything, the control us from making to much money, the control us from forming monopolies, the control how we do business, who we employ. However they FAILED to regulate the risky banking envrionment that we are all in. They can blame who they want, but in the end its the consumer, the average person that suffers (not just me but everyone), and they have been formed to protect us from doing harm to others and ourselves.  &#xD;
  Sorry to rant and rave on here, like this. I appologies to the owners of this site, and every one else reading this.  &#xD;
  I am sure in the end all will be ok, I have a good family and I will find away like I always do.  &#xD;
  Good evening, from a troubled ex-lehman worker</description>
